Integrated power meter: data-based power

Avanti offers accurate monitoring of your workout effectiveness thanks to its integrated power meter, the OTS (Optical Torque Sensor). This device measures the power exerted with extreme precision, with an accuracy of ±1%. 

Avanti also offers several options for viewing power data for ERG rides, which can be activated on My E-Training with the "Power Smoothing" function, along with the practical "Easy Start", a function designed to facilitate resuming intervals after short pedal breaks, ensuring a comfortable and effective training experience. The high speed of the power meter data reading allows you to quickly switch to the Supertuck position during Zwift races.



Reach new heights with gradients up to 18%

Avanti takes you to conquer new heights by managing the resistance automatically while pedaling to faithfully replicate gradients of up to 18%. 

For an even more engaging experience, Avanti is compatible with the Rizer, Elite's gradient simulator with integrated steering which can automatically move the bike frame to simulate climbs and descents. 

If you want an even more immersive and personalized training experience, you can also combine the trainer with Aria, Elite's smart fan. By communicating with your sensors and electronic devices, Aria can automatically adjust the intensity of the airflow based on your speed, power, heart rate, and body temperature, offering you a comfortable, motivating, and realistic environment during your workouts.

Avanti is equipped with black Flex Feet, designed to optimize the authenticity and efficiency of your pedaling with a lateral micro-oscillation capacity of 4.5°.

Biomechanical tests conducted on athletes with different cycling morphotypes have shown that the presence of lateral micro-oscillations on smart trainers, and thus the ability to replicate the natural oscillation of the bike during rides, offers various benefits for improving muscular efficiency in the shoulders, back, glutes, and quadriceps.

Automatic calibration: simplified setup

Avanti is also Plug & Play in its ability to automatically perform periodic calibrations without any manual intervention from the user, simplifying the use of the trainer for every workout.



Advanced connectivity with WiFi connection

Avanti offers enhanced connectivity with the addition of WiFi. The trainer can be directly connected to your internet network, ensuring a stable and fast connection for every workout with supported software.

You can connect the trainer to the network via the My E-Training app and, once configured on a specific Wi-Fi network, it will automatically reconnect.

The WiFi connection supports 2.4 GHz wireless networks and also allows the trainer to automatically update its firmware every time it's switched on, without any manual intervention from the user.

Dual Bluetooth® channel and Bridge for cadence sensors and heart rate monitors

Avanti features a dual Bluetooth® channel, allowing you to connect two Bluetooth® devices simultaneously, such as a cyclocomputer while connected to the training app via Bluetooth®.

The Bridge functions for cadence sensors or heart rate monitors will allow you to connect a heart rate monitor or a cadence sensor while connected to the training software, to transmit the respective data in the standard FE-C ANT+ and FTMS BLE transmission protocols.

Avanti is also capable of creating a virtual heart rate monitor in case you are using programs not compatible with your heart rate monitor's protocol (e.g., you have an ANT+ heart rate monitor but are using a Bluetooth program or device).



Training freedom in any context

Avanti offers two standalone operating modes for flexible training anywhere, even without software connection or electrical power.

If the trainer is powered but not connected to any software, pre-set a slope value up to +18% on the My E-Training app. The trainer will maintain this value even when disconnected from the app.

If you have neither connection nor power, adjust the trainer's resistance level on the My E-Training app before you leave, setting a brake resistance value from 1 to 16 levels.

  • Shimano Di2® Pairing

    Thanks to integration with Shimano Di2® shifters, activatable on My E-Training, your trainer is more functional than ever, even if you use it with a bike with electronic shifting. The "Pairing" function allows you to manage the resistance level in standalone mode when the trainer is connected to a power outlet, or to pause the brake for 60 seconds when riding on apps, simply by using the buttons on the electronic shift levers.

  • Monitor your progress

    Working like a cyclometer, Avanti can monitor the total distance you cover when riding on the trainer.

    The count is visible on the My E-Training app and is active both when you use the trainer with software and when you use it in powered standalone mode.

  • Connect the trainer to the wired network as well

    If you cannot use your network's WiFi, Avanti is also equipped to connect via cable with the Elite Gateway Wired Ethernet Dongle, an additional connection tool that allows you to connect the trainer to a router or computer via an Ethernet cable.

Maximum compatibility with all bikes

Avanti guarantees exceptional compatibility with road, gravel, and mountain bikes featuring 130-135 x 5 mm quick-release hubs, and 142 x 12 mm thru-axle hubs (adapters included in the package).

Avanti is also ready to connect to Zwift Cog and Click, allowing you to train with all the functionalities of Zwift's virtual shifting.

Simply remove the cassette you use when training with other software and replace it with the Zwift Cog.

Compatible with most 8 to 12-speed drivetrains, the Cog adds versatility to your trainer, making switching between bikes quick and hassle-free regarding compatibility. For a tailored setup of your Elite trainer, we recommend using the Elite Cog (No Freehub), designed to be fully compatible with Elite trainers.

A solid and compact design, born from a new collaboration with Adriano Design to create an increasingly integrated ecosystem of indoor cycling products.

Beyond a racing spirit, the creation of Avanti seeks to adapt to the increasingly necessary imperatives of sustainability and sensitivity to the environmental impact of its production required of manufacturing companies. 

For its structure, we used regenerated plastic components according to a circular production model aimed at reducing the use of raw materials from fossil fuels from the design phase. Of the total plastic materials used, Avanti is in fact made of over 50% recycled plastic in the pre-consumer production phase.
