Torpado Impudent MTB 29 Ribot X Full XT SID 100mm Fork Bicycle

RIBOT X, the Torpado brand MTB. The muscular bicycle from the Impudent line with a carbon frame suitable for all riders.

Torpado Impudent is proud to present its new hardtail: RIBOT X 29” Boost.

It is a completely renewed bicycle compared to the previous version and is the result of extensive work carried out in symbiosis between the R&D department and the professional athletes of the Top Teams Torpado Ursus and Torpado Südtirol.

Materials and production processes have been improved: this has ensured a bike that weighs only 895g (raw frame, size M).

We achieved this fantastic result also thanks to the development of the tube sections, the use of the flat mount standard for the rear brake, and the creation of a frame dedicated to a 1x drivetrain.

Thanks to the use of new materials and new production processes, Torpado Impudent has improved the behavior of the RIBOT X: its reactivity has been perfected thanks to extremely short chainstays (only 425mm), which was made possible by adopting a 1x drivetrain.

In the new RIBOT X, handling has been optimized thanks to a longer top tube and a shorter stem; in addition, better handling is guaranteed by shorter chainstays and a further developed head angle: the RIBOT X has a head angle of 69.5°, a seat tube angle of 73.5°, and a front fork with 100mm travel.

Torpado Impudent has further developed the rear triangle of the RIBOT X: the shape and particular arrangement of the fibers in the seatstays have been designed to ensure excellent vibration absorption, without compromising the lateral reactivity guaranteed by the shorter rear triangle.

In the RIBOT X project, we paid close attention to design: the internal cable routing has been improved thanks to the use of One Way X technology: the use of an interchangeable plate allows cables to enter at a single point on the frame, making the design cleaner and facilitating both assembly and maintenance.

RIBOT X has been further updated in the "drop out" area with the inclusion of the latest generation "UDH Sram" derailleur hanger; this standard optimizes both its operation and its availability in case a replacement is needed.
